At the Sports Fair, held on April 3, 2025 in Podgorica, the Golf Association of Montenegro presented itself with great success. Our stand was visited by a large number of citizens, most of whom were children and young people, who showed great interest in golf. Many of them tried their first golf shots with our golfers and instructors, and inquired about training opportunities and membership in golf clubs.
Among the visitors were also the Minister of Sports Dragoslav Šćekić, and Dušan Simonović, President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee. In a short and friendly conversation with the President of the Golf Association of Montenegro Đorđe Popović, and members of the Board of Directors and the Assembly of the Association, they were informed about the state of this sport and the future activities of the Golf Association.
It is interesting that, after the end of the fair, when everyone had already left, a group of children and young people were still at our stand, wanting to practice a little more with the golfers.
We also owe gratitude for the successful appearance of GSCG at the Sports Fair to our general sponsor, the Municipality of Budva, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, sponsors, the Municipality of Tivat, the companies “Montimprex”, “Garmin – Una Montenegro”, the restaurant “Mala barka”, as well as golfers who made personal donations.
